Charles Colvington

A bequest from Mr and Mrs Charles Colvington, who formed the UN Association of the Isle of Man, has been available since 2019. The focus is supporting post-graduate students in international educational opportunities through the United Nations.

Jennie has an extensive network of contacts having worked as a business consultant in both the Isle of Man and in Spain.  Being on the Board of local charities, Jennie demonstrates how charitable and commercial enterprises can work together for mutual benefit.

Her passions are promoting respect and tolerance and supporting international relations.

Sara Crisford

As a teacher of Social Sciences for 25 years Sara has been an enthusiastic observer of social and political events both globally and locally that have shaped our lives. She has a passion to engender this interest in young people to broaden their understanding of both our own society and those across the globe, helping them to take the next steps from academic study to gaining experience and making their own contribution to the global community.

Adrienne Burnett

Former Head Teacher of Ballakermeen High School, Adrienne has over 40 years’ experience in education. She understands the importance of and has seen the positive impact in broadening young people’s horizons, enabling them to gain cross-cultural understanding and international experience.

Ruth Donnelly

Growing up on the Isle of Man, Ruth is passionate about promoting opportunities for young people outside of the Isle of Man. With a background in public and private organisations her role as a trustee allows for synergies of education and learning opportunities for all within the Charles Colvington Foundation.

The Secretary Jennie Thompson is the controller for all personal data processed by the Charles Colvington Foundation.

Information you provide as part of your application are used to decide if we can offer you financial support through the Charles Colvington Foundation.

We do not automatically capture or store personal data from visitors to this site.

The law mandates the Charles Colvington Foundation to protect your personal information.

Access to the personal data you provide will be securely controlled and all processing will be undertaken in accordance with, and as permitted by, the requirements of the Data Protection Act 2018.
